BCN – MONTJUIC
BCN-montjuïc is a building in which various different commercial activities are on offer:
• Rental of apartments (93 apartments or residential units), each fully equipped and ready for immediate use.
• Accommodation in an aparthotel consisting of 60 studio flats (equivalent to a large hotel room) and apartments.
• Rental of offices forming part of a Business Centre consisting of 30 offices with a surface area of between 10 and 50 sq.m., equipped for immediate use.
• Rental of 160 parking places (for motorbikes, cars, and vans).
Each of these activities is conducted independently of the others.
Apart from the activities described above, further supplementary services have been made available in the building for optional use by persons or companies whether they be residing or located in the building or have no direct connection with it:
• A vending-machine (for sale of cold drinks, coffee, tea and ready-made or pre-cooked food). It is planned to open a shop where future residents of the building could buy any products very frequently needed for everyday use or consumption.
• A smokers' room near the vending-machine.
• Launderette.
• A meeting room, together with catering service for groups (on request to reception staff).

FEATURES OF THE BCN-montjuïc BUILDING :
• The building has a very successful design which has been facilitated by the nature of the site (a rectangle 90m.x 25.5 m.). The passageways giving access to each apartment are open-plan and merge with the interior courtyard space, which in effect makes it possible to dispense with the always unattractive type of interior courtyard. The structure has been constructed with four façades along the length of the building (giving onto Calle San Fructuoso) and 6 along the width. This means that the rooms can have large windows on both their exterior and interior façades, not only letting in a lot of light but also making it possible to have cross-ventilation and so giving very pleasant interior temperatures.
